J Resort Reno, Reno

My stay at J Resort in Reno started off rocky with a room mix-up, but the issues didn’t end there. The hotel was under renovation but still managed to look nice on the surface. The room itself was pleasant enough, though amenities were lacking, particularly with towels. On the plus side, the initial inconvenience of the room change led to waiving the resort fees, but the extra charge I discovered later left a sour taste. Overall, I'd steer clear of returning due to the poor follow-up and service issues.

The hotel recently underwent a major renovation, resulting in modern and clean rooms that feel luxurious. However, I encountered some cleanliness issues and poor housekeeping in my initial room. The dining options were decent, but the casino experience left much to be desired, making it not feel like a true resort despite the fees. Overall, it's a mixed bag of positives and negatives.
